Sexy Back! Fitness Model Shoot Tips & Prep

I receive lot’s of emails for tips on fitness shoots & Stage prep.
So here is how I got myself and my body ready for this Fitness Shoot I did a couple of months ago in Singapore with Blackwater Photography.
The day of the Photo shoot I drank little water maybe 1/2 litre were I usually would of had 2 litres at least by that afternoon, just to dry out a little-not to extreme and I cut down sodium for 48 hrs before to help with bloat and water retention.

The Photographer Kin wanted a rear toned look, so for extra definition I applied a Jan Tana Glaze which gives my muscles a shine for added Separation and Definition, then to pump my Lats, Rhomboids and bring in my core I performed a set of Plank Single rows to get the blood flowing and muscles popping with 10kgs dumbbells
As you can see Fitness Shoots are very different than the Beauty Shoots where make up and hair is the focus we Bikini and Figure competitors have to get a sweat on to get our body rocking which of course is the main focus.
And here’s a great tip! My meal the night before was grilled chicken and asparagus, Asparagus is a great diuretic-again to cut out bloating! As if you ate Broccoli which is fantastic and full of Fibre BUT this will bloat your tummy a little bit more on the photos so better meal for after the shoot.
