Phi Phi Island Banyan Villa Fitness Centre Review

If your like me and serious on your exercise routine even on your travels The Banyan Villa hotel on Phi Phi, Thailand has the most developed gym complex with 700 m sq of cardio, weights, sauna, steam and dance floor facilities.

BANYAN VILLA FITNESS REVIEW

1, FREE WEIGHTS – Complete Double sets of dumbbells, Barbells, squat rack and more.

2, RESISTANCE MACHINES – Hammer Strength, Lots of cables.

3, CARDIO – At Least 10 sets of Cardio Machines-Treadmills, X trainers, Bikes all in great condition and bonus-boxing ring with pads, mits gloves (in the center of the gym).

4, SERVICE – As in all of Thailand (land of smiles) very friendly and sweet x

5, CLEANLINESS -Spot on! Everything was wiped down and everything in it’s place.

6, CHANGING ROOMS/SHOWERS – Large Changing room with Lockers, Hairdryers & clean Bathrooms.

7, PRICE – Very Over priced unfortunately for the island, but as it is the only fully equipt gym they do have the niche market so be prepared to pay £8+

8, OPENING TIMES – Mon-Sun: 8:00 -21:00

Additional info;

If your wanting to instantly replenish and recover straight after training, the coffee and juice bar offer not only a great place to hang out and cool down while surfing the free wifi but it also offers quality branded protein shakes made anyway you like.

Training Delts/Arnold Presses in Phi Phi Island

The daily membership to pay for going to the gym unless you are staying at the Phi Phi Banyan Villa (Not to be mixed up with the Exclusive Banyan Tree Chain) is quite steep for island life but this is well worth the money.
