My Favourite Protein Smoothie (in My Bali Kitchen)

MONKEY MAGIC SMOOTHIE

(A.K.A CHUNKY MONKEY IN LYTE CAFE)

1 SCOOP PROTEIN, 1TBS NATURAL PEANUT BUTTER, 1/2 WATER, 1/2 LACTOSE FREE SKIMMED MILK, 3 ICE CUBES, 1/2 BANANA, 8 ALMONDS, 5GR L-GLUTAMINE (OPTIONAL).

Located 2 mins from the Beach, in the video I just back from my 1st Surf lesson where I nailed it ;) YEAY, but haven’t since ;( But only tried once and months later so as God loves a tryer, I’ll be BACK!

Nice villa to look at but stressful after just a few nights, the thatched roofed was a home to a big black rat!!! Who shared the villa with us and the Open air  Bathroom and outside kitchen made me a mosquito treat as there was lots of stagnant ponds in the gardens.

Now when we return to Bali we look for basic accommodation but CLOSED! and as long as we have wifi….Happy Days x

Beauty Food, Thai Style Stir-no-fry

 

 5min Dinner!

Bag cooked shrimp, Peppers-red, yellow, green, Coriander-cilantro, Sweet Beans, 1 Red Chilli, 1 Avocado.

Rinse, Drain, Chopped

Then drizzle juice 1 lime, 1lemon, 1tb Coconut Oil, 1 tb Fish Sauce. Salt and Pepper -if needed but fish Sauce is usually enough Sodium.

Fresh, Clean, Crunchy, Full of Vitamins, & Omega 3s.

Why weights are a Girls Best Friend!

Weight Training wont bulk you out, it will you tone you in ;)

 

 

 

My girlfriends always tell me their stories of their endless hours of cardio and eating like a bird trying to lose weight,  then they end up giving up and losing heart as they stop seeing results.

Listen! Females don’t have the hormones to bulk up, you will not end up like a bodybuilder

( do you know hard it is for them to look like a bodybuilder?)

You would have to consume an enormous amount of calories and train very heavy to build mass, and even then most female bodybuilders have to take steriods to get the mass.
Weights will speed up your metabolism and get you lean and tight.

But more importantly it will make you stronger, feel more independent and that is powerful, and who doesn’t want to feel powerful?

 

Start body weight assisted exercises like press ups, split squats, pull ups and dips. First to build confidence and see the difference of how muscle toning sculpts your body, then venture over the the other side of the gym you won’t regret it, promise.
