How to Train for shapely Legs-on 1 machine

I didn’t wear or own a skirt/dress/High heels until I was 27yrs old!

All my life I’ve had strong legs from genetics ( and a little Hung

Gar Kung Fu Starting from 8yrs old with the original Jimmy Chan,  Seal St)

I didn’t have the confidence to show my legs even my brothers would tease my thunder thighs ;) Thanxs

Training all my life every day, even competing in Taekwon Do in SIngapore and…… I entered as Heavy Weight-GUTTED!

But I finally found my formula that worked for me, slimmed my pear shape to shapely, which included, PICKING up the iron & UPPING my lean Protein.

 

 

It doesn’t matter what size you are, as long as your toned!

Healthy-now that’s sexy?

I realised I would never be Vogue thin, but I could be the best me,

and if that means I naturally hold muscle and has curves instead of slim,

Then I will rock the Strong!

Belly Bloat Blaster-5min Salmon

Cortisol is the stress hormone which makes your belly bloat but more importantly In extreme cases linked to causing Cancer!

Salmon and it’s Omega3′s help with reducing your cortisol level ;)

I try to eat (Super) Salmon at least once a week and advise my high flying career clients to eat it 1-2 a week, making sure of

the low mercury levels when buying i.e Wild or Organically farmed.

Salmon

1;Ingredients Salmon Fillet, Lemon, Chilli Flakes, Salt, Pepper, Oats (Blender finer), Cilantr0-Optional. 2;Grill medium high for a couple of minuted checking to see the meat is turning a pale pink halfway before flipping over carefully, SIMPLES X

I usually bake my salmon as like the oats to get crispy as this is my cheat on a kind of Chippy battered fish or a KFC kind of spicy coating ;)

You can Bake or use a grill/Plancha,  I do most of my Protein cooking on this as the fat drains off, I looked everywhere for a George Foreman in Singapore with NO luck ;(

I love Serving Salmon with another GOOD for you Fats Avocado,

This is simple takes 5 mins tops and a great stress and belly busting beauty meal, enjoy x

ONE Fighting Championships, Singapore 3rd Sept!

 

I was lucky enough to attend the One fighting Championships Press Conference at the Singapore Stadium. Personally I can’t wait for this event, and think it’s an amazing opportunity to bring back interest of Martial arts back to Asia

Protein Powders, what I look for?

When shopping for a new Protein the last thing I want is a very calorific meal replacement drink or a low quality Protein were my gains are hindered after training to recovering.

Here are some tips for what i look for,

1st, PROTEIN content, at 25grams or higher per serving the quality of the product is better.

2nd, CARB content 2grams per serving max, you really don’t have to settle for less as there is a lot of choice with different brands competing in quality.    (I prefer to save my carbs limits to good food  ; ) 

3rd, FAT content 1 gram max as you can pick a good Isolate  with 0grams Fat these days with prices not much more expensive than whey.


1, WHEY ( 8/10) 




 

 



 2, ISOLATE (8-10) CLEANER BUT FLAVOUR DULLER!    





 

 

3, WHEY (7/10) QUALITY LESS THAN THE REST BUT HAD TO TRY THE CHOCOLATE MINT FLAVOUR-BUT THIS WAS AVERAGE IN TASTE.

I take 1scoop pre serving 2-3 times a day depending on my nutrition and training that day.

Conveniently  located 2 mins from Orchard Rd MRT

The only gym that I know of  in Orchard that has a Olympic size pool, heaven after the hustle and bustle of the shopping malls I nip upstairs for a quick dip, as lockers can be rented here too ;)  

 

The gym area has free weights, machines, kettle bells, Medicine balls, and the usual cardio equipment-treadmill, steppers, x trainers. The fitness centre also has the 1 Studio room with daily classes.

Ratings 7/10

A lot of the equipment needs some TLC and some pieces outdated, but as you find the more mature Japanese, korean clientele here they are more than happy with the basics before dipping in the pool, so I’m happily left with a quiet gym and all the dumbbells to myself and plenty of room.
